My Priorities
Our district is home to educators, health care workers, small business owners, parents, and community leaders who all want the same thing: a safe, fair, and thriving community. I will stand up and fight for what matters most to our neighbors—strong public schools, affordable and accessible health care, reproductive freedom, safe neighborhoods, and an economy that works for families and local businesses. I’m ready to listen, lead with our shared values, and deliver real results that put our community first and move Wisconsin forward.
Together We Can:
Protect reproductive rights
Prepare every student for success
Make health care more affordable and accessible
Support small businesses
Improve our childcare system
Make government work for people
Protect our environment
Lead responsibly on technology
Together, we can solve the challenges of today.
Together we can lead Wisconsin to a better Wisconsin tomorrow.

The overturning of Roe v. Wade was a personal wake-up call. That day, the look on my wife’s face, and the emotions I felt will be etched into my brain forever. As a husband to a wife who has had three very complicated pregnancies, I promised myself I would never again be a bystander while families in Wisconsin lost control over deeply personal medical decisions.
Reproductive health care isn’t abstract policy—it’s about trust, dignity, and the freedom to make decisions that are right for your family, guided by medical professionals, not politicians. If elected, I will fight for policies that protect reproductive freedom and ensure access to safe, legal, and comprehensive care, including:
Defending the right to make personal medical decisions—including contraception, pregnancy care, and abortion—without government interference.
Supporting doctors and health care providers so they can deliver evidence-based care without fear of political retaliation.
Expanding access to reproductive health services, especially for rural communities and those facing the greatest barriers.
By protecting reproductive rights, supporting providers, and ensuring care is accessible, we can safeguard freedom, dignity, and opportunity for all families in Assembly District 13.
-
A strong education prepares students for life after graduation—whether that’s college, the trades, public service, or the workforce. But across Wisconsin, unstable funding, staffing shortages, and inconsistent support disrupt learning and limit opportunity. Too often, public schools are forced to rely on referendums or make cuts that directly affect classrooms and students.
If elected, I will work towards practical, student-first solutions that strengthen our schools, including:
Reforming school funding so districts can cover basic operating costs and fully support special education without constant referendums.
Strengthening the teacher workforce through training, mentorship, Grow-Your-Own pathways, and retention programs that support educators at every stage of their careers.
Expanding evidence-based practices that improve student outcomes and help close achievement gaps.
By combining stable funding, strong educators, and proven approaches, we can ensure every student in Assembly District 13 has the opportunity to succeed and every school has the support it needs to deliver results.
-
No one plans to get sick, but when they do, high healthcare costs can disrupt work, family life, and financial stability. Across Wisconsin, too many people delay or skip care because it’s unaffordable, leading to worse health outcomes and higher costs over time. Healthcare should provide security, not stress.
If elected, I will advocate for patient-centered solutions that expand access and rein in costs, including:
Expanding healthcare coverage, including extending Medicaid postpartum coverage to a full year.
Taking on rising prescription drug costs so families can afford the medications they need.
Investing in preventive healthcare by improving access to healthy food, supporting mental health services, and encouraging healthy habits.
By focusing on access, affordability, and prevention, we can help Wisconsinites stay healthier, reduce long-term healthcare costs, and build stronger, more resilient communities.
-
Small businesses are the backbone of our community—from local shops and service providers to family-owned companies that have served our neighborhoods for generations. They create jobs, fuel our local economy, and help keep our communities strong.
I am committed to supporting small businesses through thoughtful, targeted policies that address the challenges business owners face every day, including:
Simplifying and modernizing regulations to reduce red tape and make compliance clearer and more efficient.
Investing in workforce development so local employers can find, train, and retain skilled workers.
Expanding access to affordable capital and resources, including state-backed loans, grants, and technical assistance that help small businesses grow and adapt.
By working with business owners, workers, and community leaders, we can help small businesses thrive, create good jobs, and strengthen our neighborhoods. When local entrepreneurs succeed, the entire 13th District’s economy is stronger.
-
Childcare has become one of the biggest financial challenges facing working families. In Wisconsin, the average cost of infant care is nearly $12,000 per year—often rivaling housing or college tuition. When childcare is unaffordable or unavailable, parents are forced out of the workforce and children miss critical early learning opportunities.
I will work to advance solutions focused on real-world needs that make childcare more accessible and affordable for families, including:
Reducing unnecessary barriers for childcare providers so more families can access safe, high-quality care.
Supporting cost-relief options for families, including subsidies, tax credits, and sliding-scale programs.
Using public investments responsibly and effectively to strengthen the childcare system across Wisconsin.
Reliable, high-quality childcare is essential to strong families and a strong economy. When children have access to early learning opportunities and parents can work without fear of losing care, communities thrive.
-
A strong democracy depends on trust, accountability, and a government that listens to the people. Too many Wisconsinites feel shut out of the political process, and extreme partisanship has left voters frustrated.
I will fight to restore confidence and return power to the people, including:
Creating fair political maps through an independent redistricting commission with clear rules and diverse representation.
Giving citizens a stronger voice by allowing voter-initiated constitutional amendments, letting Wisconsinites directly propose and vote on reforms.
Adopting sunset laws for state programs and regulations to ensure policies remain effective, eliminate outdated rules, and protect taxpayer dollars.
By empowering voters and strengthening accountability, we can build a government that works for everyone, not just the powerful, and ensure Wisconsin remains responsive, responsible, and representative.
-
Wisconsin’s lakes, forests, green spaces, and farmland are central to our communities, economy, and quality of life. But pollution, climate change, and aging infrastructure threaten these shared resources—and the health of our families.
If elected, I will fight for practical, results-driven solutions that protect our environment and strengthen our communities, including:
Investing in clean water and air initiatives to ensure families have safe drinking water and communities can thrive.
Supporting renewable energy and energy efficiency programs that create jobs while reducing pollution and long-term costs.
Protecting public lands, parks, and natural spaces for recreation, wildlife, and future generations.
By safeguarding Wisconsin’s natural resources and embracing sustainable solutions, we can protect our health, grow our local economy, and ensure Assembly District 13 remains a place where families and communities can thrive for generations to come.

Artificial Intelligence is already changing how we work, learn, and receive healthcare. While AI offers opportunities to boost productivity and innovation, its long-term impact on jobs, families, and small businesses is still uncertain. We’ve seen what can happen when powerful technology moves faster than thoughtful policy: social media brought new ways to connect, but also fueled anxiety, misinformation, and concentrated power.
If elected, I will fight for smart, forward-looking policies that encourage innovation while protecting workers, consumers, and children, including:
Developing a clear AI framework that brings together business owners, workers, educators, and healthcare professionals to guide responsible AI use.
Promoting transparency, accountability, and fairness in AI systems to prevent harmful outcomes.
Supporting innovation that grows Wisconsin’s economy while safeguarding communities and small businesses.
By learning from the mistakes of social media, we can ensure AI strengthens our economy, protects families, and works for everyone—not just the few.
